Organization
The Finnish Forest Association is responsible for the overall arrangements of the Forest Academy. The Finnish Forest Association is a communication and co-operation body formed by 60 member organisations that represent a broad variety of actors in the fields of forest utilisation and enjoyment.

An Advisory Board has been appointed for the Forest Academy, lead by Secretary of State, Mr. Raimo Sailas. The Advisory Board includes top-level representatives of forestry and environmental administrations, the forest industry, forest owners, employee organisations, the bank and financial sector, environmental organisations, and the media.

The Forest Academy is primarily funded by the Finnish Forest Foundation and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Finland.
