forest.fi is published by the Finnish Forest Association. Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, The Central Union of Agricultural Producers and Forest Owners (MTK), Metsähallitus, Metsä Group, Stora Enso, UPM, the Finnish Forest Foundation, the Finnish Forest Centre, and the Finnish Sawmills Association participate in funding the service.

All materials available in forest.fi except photos and drawings can be used freely unless otherwise stated. The graphs available can be used.

Unless it is stated otherwise, all material, excluding photos and drawings, on forest.fi can be used free of charge but the source must be named, for example www.forest.fi or just forest.fi. The association does not take any responsibility of reproductions based on graphics in forest.fi if they are somehow changed during reproduction, and, it also is forbidden to attribute such material to forest.fi.
